Wenn Ortuno-Cortez is a second-year student majoring in Spanish at UCSB. Wenn’s desire to learn literature started in high school where her teacher taught her about Latin American history by reading literary works. This left her eager to learn more about the world and Wenn combined two things in order to do this, history and literature. Her desire to learn more has been essential to her purpose in life and so she hopes to double major in Comparative Literature and triple major in Philosophy. Her current goal is to get more involved with clubs and jobs to enhance her learning outside of the classroom. Wenn is unsure which path she will take when her college life comes to an end, but she hopes to get a position in the teaching field since she would love to teach students about literature.
