Wisaam Alec Haj is a fourth-year transfer student at UCSB, currently studying Communication and Technology Management. It took him longer than it should have to realize his aptitude for writing, but it was love at first sight when he was introduced to the Professional Writing minor. Wisaam has always enjoyed playing with and observing animals, and has been seeking a way to incorporate that passion into a side career. He is the ultimate authority on writing cards for any occasion, and speaks four languages, with a fifth imminent. He is grateful for the writing accolades he’s earned over the years, but considers his greatest accomplishment getting along with his older and younger sisters (Final term paper–easy. Family game night? Now that’s anarchy).
